IMG Hospital in Punta Cana hosted a class taught by Professor Felipe Fregni of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, from the course Principles and Practice of Clinical Research. This class was attended in person by a group of participating doctors from the Dominican Republic and virtually by doctors from 12 other countries.

This master class falls within Hospital IMG's vision of turning Punta Cana into a reference center for Caribbean medicine. Within this vision of innovation and medical quality, the important work and achievement of recently obtaining North American accreditation for health centers by Hospital IMG is included, thus becoming the first comprehensive clinic in the Dominican Republic to be accredited by the States.
